Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven SEO Specialist to join our growing boutique marketing agency. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEO strategies and digital marketing principles, with proven experience driving organic visibility, traffic, and conversions. In this role, you will work directly on client websites—collaborating with content creators, developers, and marketing professionals—to implement effective on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies that align with business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify high-value opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, headers, and internal linking to improve rankings.
  • Develop and manage link-building strategies to strengthen domain authority.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and troubleshoot crawl issues, page speed, and mobile usability.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into new and existing content.
  • Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog to track performance.
  • Provide regular SEO reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date on search engine algorithm changes and digital marketing trends.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush and Ahrefs.
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console).
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, Showit, Webflow, or Shopify.
  • Solid understanding of HTML/CSS and technical SEO principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with international SEO or large-scale websites.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
  • Familiarity with conversion rate optimization (CRO) practices and A/B testing.
