Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Expert

Job Type: Part-time, Hourly
Location: Remote
Work Schedule: Working hours must overlap with EST business hours (9am – 5pm EST) for at least five hours each day. We expect team members, especially client-facing, to be available 9am – 5pm EST (New York Time). Note: this is an on-demand, hourly position.
- The candidate should ensure that the online traffic is highly valuable and consistent for the business
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement them to achieve CRO goals
- Lead CRO activities and becomes the in-house expert on all-things-CRO
- Design and implement CRO programs to improve conversions
- Analyze performance and suggest improvements
- Report on output from landing pages and A/B tests
- Sync with the Paid Media or SEO team to understand the user journey and provide recommendations to improve conversions
- Supports client communication (under our company brand) – Understand client needs, request access to appropriate tools, communicate expected hours of completion (brief), execute on the request, provide instructions to the client’s internal team, etc.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven CRO experience
- Ability to clearly and effectively articulate insights and recommended actions
- Understanding of Google Analytics, heatmaps and A/B testing tools
- Understanding of user journey and online funnels
- Understanding of copywriting to provide recommendations
- Experienced in the process of optimizing a site or landing page experience based on website visitor behavior to help improve the probability of the visitor taking desired actions (conversions) on the said page
- Digital Marketing agency experience is a plus
- Strong levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Candidate must be able to commit to hyper-growth and to a long-term work engagement, must be gritty, must be emotionally intelligent, and must be an A-player.
