Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Marketing Specialist (Technology) in our Ancaster, ON office. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for day-to-day marketing tasks, including website and digital content, YouTube videos, marketing strategy development, lead generation, and graphic design and documentation.
Major Responsibility Areas
Graphic Design: Utilize graphic design skills to create eye-catching visuals for LinkedIn, website, digital media, improve website appearance and content, including brochures, manuals, YouTube, email marketing, and product presentations.
Content Creation: Develop engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, primarily LinkedIn, YouTube and website.
Social Media Management: Oversee & grow our social media accounts, craft and schedule posts, respond to comments, and monitor social media trends to keep our online presence fresh and engaging.
Trade shows & Conferences: Plan and manage industry events.
Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive analysis to inform adaptation and improve marketing strategies.
Collaboration: Work closely with sales, service and other cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with the overall business strategy.
Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate reports to assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
Other responsibilities: creating product videos and demos, helping the distributors' marketing team, visiting customers for content and understanding, creating and maintaining product price books, and other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills Requirement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creative, proactive & friendly personality
- Technical experience is a must
- Genuine interest in people & technology
- Experience in working in the B2B sector
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing/instrumentation/electronics/Automation or related field
- Have a valid Canadian work permit, PR or be a Canadian Citizen.
