E-Commerce Product Listing Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking, detail-oriented, and reliable E-Commerce Product Listing Assistant to join our growing auction company. This role involves searching for products, writing accurate descriptions, and ensuring timely and consistent uploads of new product listings to our online auction platform.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of working under deadlines with a strong sense of responsibility and a solid work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely uploading of new product listings based on inspection photos and notes
• Research and identify exact products online using SKUs, keywords, and manual diagrams
• Write clear, honest, and customer-friendly product descriptions based on item condition and manufacturer info
• Maintain consistency and accuracy in titles, pricing, included parts, and specifications
• Communicate with the inspection and warehouse teams to clarify product details when needed
• Keep digital files organized and follow internal naming conventions
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow and meet auction deadlines
• Assist in improving listing quality and suggesting optimizations

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in writing and data entry
• Excellent time management and ability to work independently
• Solid product research skills (Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, etc.)
• Strong written English and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with ChatGPT, Excel, etc.
• Good work ethic and willingness to learn
• College/University degree or equivalent experience in e-commerce, business, or marketing is an asset
