SEO Manager Multi-Brand (BAU Focus)

4-month maternity-leave backfill | 100 % Remote (U.S.) | W2 Contract through Calance

Role Purpose

Temporary, execution-focused contractor who will own day-to-day SEO tickets for 7 8 live payment-brand websites while the other SEO Manager drives the larger transformation/unification project. This is purely BAU work: research, write, optimize, publish, report repeat.

Contract Details

Duration: 4 months

Schedule: Mon Fri 9 AM 5 PM (time-zone flexible; West-Coasters may have early calls)

Location: 100 % remote

Payroll: W2 only (Calance)

Start: ASAP after Daniells 45-min 30-min panel interview

Core Responsibilities

• Keyword end-to-end: research, map, write/optimize content, apply metadata, publish.
• GEO & SEO analytics: track rankings and traffic by country; report weekly.
• Backlink analysis & clean-up: maintain authority across 7 8 sites.
• Gap analysis: find quick-win keywords for existing pages and execute.
• New pages: full SEO workflow from brief to indexation.
• Ticket hygiene: keep Jira/Monday (or Wrike) updated; partner with the other SEO Manager to ensure zero ticket backlog.

Must-Have Skills

1. Strong keyword & SEO research (show us your process).

2. Proven success moving rankings up on established sites.

3. Expert with Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs; can jump into tools Day 1.

4. Multi-brand / multi-site experience (5+ sites minimum).

5. BAU mentality: high-volume, high-velocity, detail-oriented, loves closing tickets.

Nice-to-Have

• Global or hreflang experience.
• Payments / FinTech background (or similar complexity).
• CMS optimization across geographies.

Experience Level

Up to 5 years accepted if you ve worked in complex, high-volume environments (agency or large in-house). Contractor background preferred over consulting.
