Your Opportunity
As the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing , you will play an important national leadership role in shaping and advancing our digital marketing strategy to drive brand visibility, client engagement, and measurable growth.
You are a strategic, progressive and technically fluent leader who thrives in a collaborative, matrixed professional services environment. This is for an existing vacancy where you will play a pivotal role in balancing innovation with practical execution and bring a strong understanding of how digital performance contributes to firm growth.
- Own and evolve BDO Canada’s digital marketing channels as strategic growth platforms and primary digital conversion engine.
- Drive continuous optimization of user experience (UX/UI), page speed, conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and personalization aligned to client journey stages.
- Ensure all digital initiatives support firm priorities, industry growth strategies, and national campaigns.
- Support brand growth on all digital platforms, ensuring a consistent and high impact experience
- Oversee the technical SEO foundation.
- Partner with internal, external and global technical teams to ensure the website infrastructure supports scalability, performance, and discoverability.
- Develop and execute content SEO strategies tailored to complex, expertise-driven professional services offerings.
- Develop strategies to position BDO’s thought leadership within AI-powered search results, featured snippets, and answer-based search experiences.
- Structure content to enhance discoverability by AI tools and large language models.
- Monitor evolving search behaviours and emerging technologies to ensure the firm remains competitive and visible in AI-driven environments.
- Help design and execute integrated campaigns that move prospects from awareness to MQL to SQL, with a focus on pipeline contribution and measurable ROI.
- Optimize conversion metrics across the funnel and continuously refine strategies based on performance insights.
- Partner closely with the Market Activations team to ensure that key channels are leveraged effectively across campaigns.
- Lead the e-mail marketing strategy, including segmentation, behavioural triggers, and personalized content journeys for long sales cycles.
- Design and execute Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs targeting priority accounts and buying committees, coordinating website personalization, email sequences, and tailored content strategies.
- Translate analytics into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for senior leadership.
- Identify which channels, content, and campaigns generate qualified pipeline and continuously optimize investment allocation.
People Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and develop a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Serve as the firm’s subject matter expert (SME) in digital marketing, SEO, marketing technology, and AI search strategy.
- Collaborate effectively across a national, matrixed environment.
The expected range of compensation for this role is $126,000 to $176,000

Your experience and education
- Eight years of progressive leadership experience in digital marketing.
- Deep expertise in SEO (technical and content), marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM systems, and marketing analytics.
- Experience managing the digital client experience for long sales cycles and complex stakeholder groups.
- Strong understanding of AI search optimization and evolving digital trends.
- Demonstrated ability to connect marketing performance to pipeline and revenue outcomes.Proven people leadership experience in a collaborative, national organization.
