About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable Shopify E-Commerce Manager to take full ownership of building, launching, and managing multiple Shopify-based websites.

This role goes far beyond basic website setup. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of each site — from initial concept and structure, through development and launch, and into ongoing optimization and management.

You must be both technically strong and commercially minded, with a solid understanding of how websites convert visitors into customers.

Key Responsibilities

Build and launch Shopify websites from concept to live deployment
Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
Structure product catalogs, collections, and navigation
Upload and manage products, images, specs, variants, and SKUs
Write, edit, and optimize product descriptions and page content
Ensure mobile optimization, performance, and usability
Configure Shopify apps, payments, shipping, and taxes
Implement basic SEO best practices across all pages
Support email marketing setup and website conversion optimization
Continuously improve site performance, UX, and conversion rates
Manage multiple Shopify stores simultaneously
Take full ownership and accountability for website quality and performance

Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience building and managing Shopify websites
Strong knowledge of:
Shopify Liquid
HTML / CSS
Basic JavaScript
Experience with Shopify apps and integrations
Solid understanding of e-commerce UX and conversion principles
Experience managing product catalogs and merchandising
Comfortable writing and editing product and marketing content
Understanding of SEO fundamentals and email marketing tools
Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented
Ability to take responsibility and work independently

Nice to Have (Assets)

Experience managing multiple Shopify stores
Klaviyo or Shopify Email experience
Basic graphic design skills (Figma, Canva, Photoshop)
Experience with Google Analytics / GA4
E-commerce or retail industry background

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Contract length: 8 months

Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
