Role and Responsibilities of (USA) Senior Analyst, Marketing Planning and Strategy:

You will support the strategy, planning, and execution of impactful marketing experiences that elevate Walmart Connect's brand. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless event and project execution aligned with business goals.

  • Support strategic planning and execution of Walmart Connect's portfolio of internal events.
  • Partner with Senior Manager to define event objectives, KPIs, measurement frameworks, and success criteria.
  • Lead assigned events or workstreams, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Communications, Product Marketing, and Media Insights to support programming and storytelling aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and workflows to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Work with Brand & Content Strategy and Creative teams to support cohesive, narrative-driven event experiences.
  • Support venue sourcing, vendor evaluation, and coordination across production, A/V, F&B, décor, and logistics.
  • Manage registration, attendee communications, rooming lists, itineraries, and on-site operational details.
  • Support on-site execution by coordinating vendors, assisting leadership, welcoming guests, and resolving real-time issues.
  • Contribute to post-event surveys, reporting, and performance insights to measure impact and inform future planning.
  • Support budget tracking, vendor invoicing, and reconciliation in partnership with the Senior Manager.
  • Document learnings and identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve future experiences.
  • Always act in accordance with Walmart values and everyday low-cost principles.

Required Skills and Experience of (USA) Senior Analyst, Marketing Planning and Strategy:

  • 3-5 years of experience in industry marketing, event marketing, or large-scale event execution.
  • Experience supporting or leading high-visibility, client-facing, or executive-level events.
  • Exposure to media, advertising, retail media, or technology industries.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to translate strategy into clear execution plans.
  • Experience working with vendors, budgets, and operational logistics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site execution.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related area OR 2 years' experience in business or related area.

Compensation and Benefits of (USA) Senior Analyst, Marketing Planning and Strategy:

  • Annual salary range: $84,000 - $156,000 and $91,000 - $169,000, based on 40-hour week.
  • Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and, for certain positions, stock awards.
