Overview

We’re an insurance agency looking for an experienced marketer to help us market to our existing list of ~6,000 licensed life & health agents. We have email addresses and phone numbers, and we want the right person to help us build a simple, compliant, repeatable marketing system—primarily through email marketing and social content/promotion.

We’re not 100% sure of the best approach yet—so we want someone who can recommend the plan and then execute it. I’d also like to learn the basics along the way, but my time is limited, so you’ll need to keep things efficient and organized.

Goal

Turn our agent list into a predictable pipeline of:

Registrations for recruiting webinars / local recruiting events

Agent opportunity inquiries (licensed & possibly unlicensed career-changers later)

Consistent engagement with our brand

What We Have

A list of ~6,000 life & health agents (emails + phone numbers)

A clear offer/opportunity and recruiting events/webinars (we’ll share details)

A brand/agency story and direction (we’ll provide core messaging and examples)

Willingness to move fast once we have the plan

What We Need You To Do

Audit & strategy (fast + practical)

Review our list + current assets

Recommend the best approach (email first, then social support, etc.)

Identify risks (deliverability, compliance, list hygiene) and how to handle them

Email marketing setup + execution

Suggest tools/workflow (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, etc.—open to recommendations)

Help with list hygiene/segmentation (basic is fine: geography, license type, engagement)

Write and build email campaigns (subject lines, body copy, CTA, follow-ups)

Set up automation sequences (welcome/intro, event invite, reminder, follow-up)

Track performance (open rate, CTR, replies, registrations)

Social media support (light but consistent)

Repurpose email themes into short posts (FB/IG/LinkedIn)

Provide a weekly content plan + simple posting assets/copy

Optional: help with boosting strategy (if we choose to run paid ads later)

Simple reporting + communication

Weekly update: what was done, results, what’s next

Keep it clean and organized (Google Doc/Sheet is fine)

Important Notes (Compliance + Deliverability)

We want messaging that is professional—not hype-y.

If you have experience with email deliverability (warming domains, sender reputation, avoiding spam flags), that’s a big plus.

Experience in regulated industries (insurance/financial/healthcare) is a plus.

Ideal Candidate

Strong English writing skills (email copy that feels human, not generic)

Proven experience with email marketing campaigns + basic automation

Comfortable recommending strategy and taking initiative

Organized, consistent communicator

Bonus: experience marketing to agents, insurance audiences, or B2B lists

We’re open to hiring from anywhere; Philippines-based candidates encouraged (we’ve had great experiences and value long-term relationships)
