We are on the lookout for an ambitious and strategic E-Commerce Channel Manager to spearhead the development, management, and growth of our digital commerce environment for US Vision Care. This role is crucial in sculpting Bausch + Lomb's Vision Care contact lens business by optimizing digital sales channels, amplifying product visibility, and ensuring a seamless customer journey across vital e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will blend commercial strategy, digital marketing savvy, and analytical acumen while demonstrating strong cross-functional teamwork. This position will closely collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Supply Chain, and Product teams to accelerate online growth and profitability. You will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Pricing & Channel Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive U.S. e-commerce strategy in collaboration with Commercial leadership, aligning with brand and portfolio goals.
  • Identify and evaluate new online marketplace and e-retail opportunities, including crafting business cases and launch plans.
  • Partner on negotiations concerning pricing policy, promotions, contracts, and annual business strategies.
  • Oversee account-level P&L management, including channel forecasts, trade/promo investment planning, and accountability for profitability performance (sales, gross margin, and key drivers).
  • Enhance digital sales performance by continuously optimizing visibility, conversion, and customer experiences across channels.
  • Ensure digital shelf excellence across platforms, including accurate SKU setup and product content integrity.
  • Maintain consistent product availability and competitive in-stock performance in partnership with Supply Chain and customer operations.
  • Collaborate with Brand Marketing to elevate digital merchandising and product presentation while ensuring content compliance.
  • Support the Strategic Pricing & Promotions team in crafting and executing growth-focused campaigns.
  • Drive search optimization and on-platform merchandising enhancements (e.g., SEO/search, enriched content and customer reviews).
  • Build and manage dashboards for tracking sales performance, pricing, promotions, and marketplace KPIs.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, trends, risks, and opportunities while translating data into actionable insights for improved growth and profitability.
  • Conduct competitive and market analyses to identify risks and opportunities, informing strategic decisions.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine channel programs and enhance customer experiences.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to forecast demand, mitigate risks, and maintain robust service levels and inventory health.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment in channel execution.
  • Lead the resolution of operational challenges, including chargebacks, logistics issues, and compliance questions.
  • Influence and guide cross-functional teams to achieve channel objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce marketing, key account management, or similar roles.
  • Proven track record in managing channel plans and account performance (revenue, margin/profit drivers, promo investment).
  • Experience in annual planning, contract negotiation, category management, trade strategy, and joint business planning.
  • Strong analytical capabilities; familiarity with dashboards/BI tools and marketplace analytics platforms.
  • High digital fluency across CRM and e-commerce platforms, along with sales and forecasting tools.
  • Robust financial expertise with the ability to interpret trends, assess ROI, and inform decision-making.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influence over cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; adept at translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Superb project management abilities; skilled in handling multiple initiatives with precision.
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 25%, including overnight trips.
  • Exceptional attention to detail while coordinating multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • This position is remote-based.

For U.S. roles, the starting pay for this position is between $110,000.00 and $140,000.00. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors.

U.S. employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives, as well as participate in various benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, paid time off, and more.
