Position Overview
RIVA is seeking a Data Analyst V to support analytics and performance measurement efforts across public-facing websites and digital services programs. This role serves as a senior analytics resource responsible for transforming complex data into clear, actionable insights that improve customer experience, inform content and product decisions, and support mission-driven digital services. The Data Analyst works closely with Government stakeholders, product owners, content strategists, and technical teams to analyze performance, identify trends, and develop reporting that supports continuous improvement.
The Data Analyst V applies strong analytical, dashboarding, and process automation skills to manage multiple disparate data sources and produce data-driven recommendations. The position is responsible for ensuring accurate data collection, maintaining performance reporting, developing visualizations, and helping stakeholders understand trends across digital products and services. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate insights clearly, automate routine reporting where appropriate, and use data to guide customer-centric improvements across a complex web ecosystem.
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead analytics support requests by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting digital performance data across websites, dashboards, and reporting platforms.
  • Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and visualizations that help Government stakeholders make informed, data-driven decisions about digital content and user experience.
  • Work with multiple disparate data sources to identify performance trends, audience behavior, andcontent insights that support continuous improvement of digital experiences.
  • Automate or streamline recurring analytical processes and reporting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness, consistency, and scalability.
  • Support accurate data collection and performance measurement across web properties, helping ensure analytics implementations and reporting outputs remain reliable and actionable.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, content teams, and technical staff to translate analytical findings into recommendations that improve content relevance, user experience, and digital service performance.
  • Present findings clearly through reports, dashboards, and briefings tailored to technical and non-technical audiences, enabling stakeholders to understand and act on the data.
  • Help ensure digital content and reporting remain current with emerging trends by analyzing data patterns and identifying opportunities for optimization or action.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 7+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or digital analytics, including experience supporting dashboards, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, Shiny, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience working with data extraction, manipulation, reporting, and performance analysis across multiple data sources.
  • Experience using analytics, survey, or reporting tools such as Qualtrics, Google Analytics, or related digital measurement platforms.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly, automate routine processes where appropriate, and collaborate with stakeholders to turn data into meaningful recommendations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance and operate effectively in a high-visibility Federal digital services environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal digital communications, web analytics, customer experience measurement, or public-facing digital services programs.
  • Experience managing or integrating multiple data sources to support content strategy, customer experience, or digital product optimization.
  • Experience automating analytical workflows or reporting pipelines to improve the speed and consistency of recurring deliverables.
  • Preferred experience includes SQL, R, Python, or related analytical/programming tools used for advanced analysis, automation, and reporting.
  • Experience supporting customer-centric analytics, dashboard migration, or digital experience optimization efforts in public-facing web environments is preferred.
The salary or salary range for this role reflects an estimated range informed by multiple compensation factors. Final offers may vary based on considerations such as relevant experience, education and training, critical skillsets, and overall business needs.

$112,000 - $133,000 USD
