Manager, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce
Porte + HallAbout the Role
Porte + Hall designs doormats, rugs, and runners for design-conscious homeowners and the interior design trade. Founded in 2019 and a 3-time Inc. 5000 honoree, we are a profitable, founder-led DTC brand built on one idea: great design should meet you at the door.
As Manager, Digital Marketing & Ecommerce, you will be the hands-on executor behind our paid media and marketing's day-to-day voice into ecommerce. Reporting to the Head of Growth, who sets channel strategy and budget, you will launch and run day-to-day execution across Meta, Google/Bing, and emerging channels, and partner with the Director of Ecommerce to make sure every campaign, promo, and launch lands on a site that is ready to convert it. Ecommerce owns site execution; you bring the marketing-first lens on what the site needs to do for growth.
This is not a coordinator role. We want an operator with real chops and a go-get-em attitude: someone who sees a broken feed, a slow PDP, or a pacing gap and fixes it before anyone asks. You will be trusted with meaningful ownership quickly, and the scope grows with you.
What You'll Own
Paid Media Execution
- Launch and traffic day-to-day campaigns on Meta and Google/Bing (Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube): campaign builds, audience and bid updates, creative rotation, and QA.
- Execute budget pacing changes and the testing plan the Head of Growth sets, and bring back what's working and what isn't.
- Set up and launch tests on emerging channels as directed, with clean setup and clear measurement.
- Keep tracking, pixels, and conversion signals healthy across platforms.
Marketing-Ecommerce Partnership
- Serve as marketing's primary point of contact for the Ecommerce team, translating campaign, promo, and launch plans into clear site requirements and timelines.
- Brief and prioritize landing pages, collection features, homepage placements, and promo mechanics based on media and revenue goals.
- QA the customer path from ad to checkout before every campaign and promo goes live.
- Bring performance insight to merchandising conversations: which products, collections, and offers are winning in paid and why.
Product Feeds & Merchant Center
- Own ad-channel feed performance in Google Merchant Center and Meta catalogs: disapprovals, titles, attributes, and feed rules that drive Shopping and catalog ads.
- Partner with Ecommerce on product data so Shopify, Google, and Meta stay consistent, flagging listing fixes in batches rather than one-offs.
Conversion & Testing
- Flag CRO opportunities from paid media and customer data to Ecommerce and our testing partners.
- QA test builds and report on results. Ecommerce and the Head of Growth own the test roadmap and prioritization.
- Support offer and pricing tests with clean readouts.
Performance Reporting
- Own the daily flash report and monthly pacing tracker: revenue, spend, ROAS, and MER vs. plan.
- Use AI tools (we use Claude) to speed up reporting and surface insights faster, so decisions get made sooner and with better information, not to replace the judgment behind them.
- Prepare weekly performance readouts for the Head of Growth with trends, anomalies, and recommendations.
- Coordinate cross-functional launch calendars with Lifecycle, Creative, and Trade.
What We're Looking For
Required
- 4 to 6 years in DTC performance marketing, growth, or digital marketing execution, ideally at a brand in the $15M to $50M range.
- Hands-on experience launching and managing Meta and Google Ads campaigns directly (not only through an agency), with fluency in ROAS, CAC, CVR, AOV, and MER.
- Direct experience managing Google Merchant Center and Meta catalogs.
- Working knowledge of Shopify Plus
- Strong analytical skills. Comfortable in Shopify analytics, GA4, and spreadsheets; you can build a report, not just read one.
- Comfortable using AI tools to move faster on reporting, QA, and analysis. We want AI to make our decisions smarter and quicker, not to make them for us.
- A bias to action. You move fast, own mistakes, and close loops without being chased.
- Clear, concise communicator who can manage up and work across teams that own different parts of the funnel.
Nice to Have
- Experience with CRO or pricing test platforms (Intelligems, Convert, VWO, or similar).
- Basic HTML/CSS or Liquid for Shopify theme edits.
- Experience with Klaviyo, Supermetrics, or Asana.
- An eye for design and an appreciation for home and interiors.
How You'll Be Measured
- Execution reliability: campaigns launched and paced to plan, with no missed deadlines.
- Revenue pacing: accuracy and timeliness of daily and weekly reporting vs. plan.
- Campaign-to-site conversion: CVR on paid traffic and campaign landing pages.
- Launch readiness: campaigns and promos live on time with the site path QA'd.
- Feed health: Merchant Center disapproval rate and catalog accuracy.
How You'll Work
You will report to the Head of Growth, who sets channel strategy, budget, and weekly priorities; you execute against that plan, with a secondary line to the Director of Ecommerce. Ecommerce owns site execution and merchandising; you own the marketing inputs to it and hold the line on what growth needs from the site. You will partner daily with Lifecycle on promo timing, with Creative on ad and landing page assets, and with external CRO partners on testing.
