Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior E-commerce Analyst to join their team in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. This role is fundamental to driving strategic decision-making through in-depth analysis of e-commerce performance, customer behavior, and market trends. You will be responsible for providing actionable insights that inform marketing strategies, optimize website performance, and enhance the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth analysis of e-commerce data, including sales, traffic, conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and marketing campaign effectiveness. Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, and SQL to track key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify opportunities for website optimization, A/B testing, and conversion rate improvement (CRO). Analyze customer segmentation and behavior to personalize marketing efforts and enhance customer retention strategies. Collaborate with marketing, product, and IT teams to provide data-driven recommendations and support strategic initiatives. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging analytical tools and methodologies. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience as an E-commerce Analyst or in a similar data analysis role. Expertise in using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar. Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail. Excellent ability to communicate complex data insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
