About NU Advisory Partners
NU Advisory Partners is an AI-native executive search and advisory firm specializing in senior executive, operating, and board roles, with deep expertise in private capital-backed environments.
We're breaking the mold in an industry that hasn't changed in decades, pairing a top-tier team with tech, data, and AI to make search smarter, faster, and built for how businesses move today. The result? A better experience for clients, candidates, and ourselves.
With 2,000+ searches and deep industry expertise, we deliver high-touch service and leadership talent that drives long-term value.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and own the numbers behind new business, retention, and growth across every commercial segment the company serves
- Coach and continually raise the bar for the commercial leadership team, establishing an operating cadence built for high accountability in a remote-first setting
- Move the organization away from an old-fashioned territory model toward one built to maximize conversion and deal value on every opportunity that comes through
- Get to the root of performance issues through experimentation and hard numbers, working closely with finance and operations on capacity planning, forecasting, and pipeline visibility
- Take ownership of retention and expansion across the entire customer journey, in a business where renewal has to be earned every single cycle
- Build on strong early progress in first-year retention, and push that same discipline, playbooks, and health tracking into years two and beyond
- Pull together the outbound efforts currently scattered across the business into one properly resourced, lasting program for new logo acquisition
- Shift how enterprise growth happens, moving away from relationship-driven deals toward disciplined, account-plan-based execution
- Act as a strong, constructive advocate for what customers and the market actually need in conversations about the product roadmap, and represent commercial priorities in executive-level planning with company leadership and its private capital sponsors
Qualifications & Experience
- Progressive commercial leadership experience in a B2B, subscription, or platform-based business, ideally one that combines software with a services component
- Experience spanning both post-sales (retention, account management, customer success) and new business, with strong SMB experience preferred
- A hands-on builder rather than a caretaker, with experience rebuilding commercial systems, process, people, and incentives from the ground up, including standing up outbound motion in an organization that has historically relied on inbound
- A track record of measurably improving GRR, NRR, and new business performance, able to speak to the specific initiatives behind those numbers in real depth
- A methodical, data-driven operating style, comfortable with capacity models, cohort analysis, conversion metrics, and running structured experiments
- Experience operating in a private equity-backed growth environment, comfortable with sponsor-level accountability and pace
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, including experience recruiting, developing, and upgrading leaders in a remote-first organization
- High energy and high throughput; open to a rising leader taking their first full commercial seat reporting to a CEO, where proven impact matters more than prior title
- Comfortable with AI-enabled sales tools and genuinely motivated to bring them into daily operations
