In this position, you’ll collaborate closely with national practice leaders and cross functional teams, as well as work with the wider Clients & Markets (C&M) group, regional marketing teams, and global stakeholders. You will report to the National Director of Advisory Marketing.
What You Will Do
- Lead and execute strategic marketing planning for campaigns and programs.
- Partner with stakeholders to assess and implement marketing initiatives aligned with national objectives, consulting with senior leaders across business units, service lines, and industry marketing.
- Develop national campaigns in collaboration with marketing, sales enablement, and communications teams, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with Advisory practice priorities.
- Strengthen market presence, enhance reputation, and support business growth.
- Identify, familiarize yourself, and monitor emerging industry trends and opportunities.
- Design and execute cohesive marketing initiatives to elevate the profile of the National Risk Services practice while also aiming for regional adoption.
- Create targeted strategic marketing campaigns aimed at generating leads.
- Work collaboratively with team members to plan and carry out a diverse range of activities that showcase KPMG’s value propositions. These typically include prominent thought leadership pieces, public relations efforts, social media engagement, and digital strategies.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the marketing and broader community.
- Implement innovative marketing strategies and techniques using AI and other tools to differentiate services and propositions.
- Support and cultivate best practices in marketing and communications.
- Stay informed about current trends and developments, prioritizing the identification of growth opportunities that advance the marketing agenda and related activities.
- Commit to ongoing improvement and professional development.
- Coordinate with the internal network and manage resources.
- Collaborate and integrate efforts with Global, National and Geographic Marketing and Communications colleagues.
- Access and leverage the wider National Marketing and Communications resources (e.g. Creative Services, Digital growth and social media, etc.)
- Manage a small team of Advisory marketing professionals
- Manage budget and marketing ROI, including tracking and managing day‑to‑day expenses against KPIs.
- Use allocated marketing program budgets effectively and demonstrate value and ROI to National Advisory Leaders through regular reporting.
What You Bring To The Role
- You are a marketing professional with at least 10 years of experience leading and implementing multi-channel marketing programs.
- You have a diploma or undergraduate degree, preferably in a discipline related to marketing.
- A post-graduate qualification in a marketing or business-related discipline would be a plus but is not required.
- You engage, influence and negotiate with stakeholders and translate complex marketing matters into strategies that are relevant to clients.
- You have experience in developing campaigns with compelling value propositions and creating integrated client issue-based platforms that promote relationships and generate revenue.
- You have a proven ability to use multi-channel marketing programs, with emphasis on digital and social channels, to deliver success and offering recommendations based on tracked metrics that will lead to further growth.
- You are a creative thinker who takes the initiative in your work fostering a culture of innovation and experimentation in your team to create business value.
- You’re self-directed and committed to excellence, consistently displaying accountability and positive, solutions-oriented approach to your work.
- You have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, and excel at project management, negotiation, change management and consulting to get buy-in and support for projects, even as you balance competing priorities and stakeholders’ expectations across different business demands.
- You’re a relationship builder with solid experience collaborating across seniority levels, and with multiple stakeholders and teams on projects.
- You have experience leading and working collaboratively with a small team in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment.
- You’re interested in the latest business trends, such as AI disruption, digital transformation, Cybersecurity, etc. etc.
This position requires written and oral fluency in English. The successful candidate will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues or stakeholders nationally in our English speaking provinces while at KPMG.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $104,000 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $106,500 to $156,500 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
