Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that balance channel partner engagement with direct user outreach.
  • Lead the transition from a predominantly channel-focused approach to a more balanced strategy, incorporating direct marketing initiatives.
  • Build strategic relationships with IT companies and managed service providers (MSPs) to drive partner referrals and enhance channel effectiveness.
  • Establish a robust marketing playbook including metrics, dashboards, and actionable plans.
  • Oversee external marketing teams to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and deliverables.
  • Identify, communicate, and cultivate new partnership opportunities for mutual growth.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform marketing tactics and campaign development.
  • Optimize marketing expenditures, ensuring efficient allocation of budget towards campaigns that drive business growth.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to enhance the organization's market presence and competitive positioning.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a B2B and channel marketing role, particularly in the tech or communications sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
  • Strong knowledge of channel sales dynamics and partnership management.
  • Experience working within or alongside hosted VoIP companies like RingCentral, Nextiva, or Dialpad is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to work remotely and manage teams across different geographies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on outcomes and impact.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to leverage marketing analytics and data-driven insights in decision-making.
