Role Description As the Founding Marketing Lead at AUTOPILOT, you will own end-to-end marketing strategy and execution, helping define the company’s narrative, positioning, and go-to-market approach. In this full-time, on-site role based in Chicago, IL, you will develop and refine messaging for our platform, create content and campaigns targeting enterprise customers, and collaborate closely with founders and sales to drive demand and support pipeline growth. Day-to-day, you will conduct market and competitive research, design and test marketing experiments, manage digital and offline channels, and establish processes and analytics to measure performance. You will also help shape the brand, manage external partners as needed, and contribute to customer-facing materials that explain complex technology in clear, compelling terms.

Qualifications

  • Strong Marketing Strategy and Market Research skills to define positioning, segment markets, and identify high-impact opportunities.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service capabilities to craft clear messaging, support customer interactions, and represent the brand with diverse stakeholders.
  • Sales and go-to-market experience to collaborate with commercial teams, support lead generation, and turn marketing insights into revenue outcomes.
  • Experience building marketing foundations at an early-stage or high-growth technology company, ideally in B2B, enterprise software, or robotics/autonomy.
  • Ability to design and run data-informed campaigns across digital and offline channels, including content, events, and partner programs.
  • Comfort working on-site in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment in Chicago, IL, with a willingness to adapt and experiment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Interest in autonomous systems, emerging technologies, and the future of work, with a commitment to ethical, human-centered innovation.
