Our client, a leading online retailer, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to join their dynamic, remote-first team. This role is critical in driving online sales and optimizing the customer shopping experience across various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of e-commerce trends, product presentation, and data analysis to inform merchandising strategies.

Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and drive conversion rates. Analyze sales data, customer behavior, and market trends to identify opportunities for product assortment optimization and promotional campaigns. Manage product catalog content, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compelling presentation across all online channels. Collaborate with marketing, inventory management, and web development teams to ensure cohesive and effective online campaigns. Conduct A/B testing on product pages, category pages, and promotional banners to improve user engagement and sales performance. Monitor competitor activities and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge. Create and present regular reports on merchandising performance, key metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior management. Stay abreast of emerging e-commerce technologies and platforms to continuously enhance the online shopping experience. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment on merchandising objectives and strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve any merchandising-related issues that may arise on the e-commerce platform. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising, retail, or digital marketing. Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing e-commerce merchandising strategies that resulted in significant sales growth. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable insights. Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Excellent understanding of SEO principles and their application to e-commerce merchandising. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with visual merchandising principles for online environments. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
