[Remote] Digital/Web Analyst 1

They are seeking a Digital/Web Analyst 1 to partner with teams to analyze customer behavior on websites and drive insights using web analytics and big data.
Responsibilities
- Partner with go-to-market teams, marketing, and product teams to deliver insight and understanding of customer behavior on the website
- Synthesize web analytics and Hadoop data to drive deeper understanding of site activity and customer journeys
- Understand key business priorities and marketing goals for the website and create an analytics roadmap to support sales and marketing goals
- Identify site requirements to ensure proper tracking of new pages and experiences; work closely with the analytics enablement team to ensure requirements are implemented
- Set and deliver on web goals and targets to drive improvements to web traffic, conversion, engagement, and retention
- Collaborate with other marketing analytics teams and researchers and contribute to holistic funnel measurement
- Work with analytics teams and technology partners to drive the next generation of analytics tools
Skills
- Expert in web analytics and insight generation with strong experience in SQL and big data environments
- Advanced knowledge of web tracking, customer behavior analysis, and marketing strategies
- Bachelor's degree with 3–4 years of experience in web analytics tools and 2 years in advanced analytics methodologies
- Partner with go-to-market teams, marketing, and product teams to deliver insight and understanding of customer behavior on the website
- Synthesize web analytics and Hadoop data to drive deeper understanding of site activity and customer journeys
- Understand key business priorities and marketing goals for the website and create an analytics roadmap to support sales and marketing goals
- Identify site requirements to ensure proper tracking of new pages and experiences; work closely with the analytics enablement team to ensure requirements are implemented
- Set and deliver on web goals and targets to drive improvements to web traffic, conversion, engagement, and retention
- Collaborate with other marketing analytics teams and researchers and contribute to holistic funnel measurement
- Work with analytics teams and technology partners to drive the next generation of analytics tools
- Strong analytical and quantitative orientation with advanced SQL knowledge in large, complex data environments
- Expert with Hadoop/big data environments to synthesize and analyze data
- Expert at the creation and use of Excel pivot tables to drive analytics
- Strong knowledge of online marketing strategies
- Ability to knit together web analytics and customer attribute data to deliver robust insights into customer behavior
- At least three to four years of working with standard clickstream analysis tools: web analytics platforms, Google Analytics, etc
- Two years of experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys, and market research
- Tableau skills strongly desired
- Experience forecasting website traffic/orders desired, but not mandatory
- Data management and modeling a plus
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred)
