Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist Needed to Increase Website Conversions

I’m looking for an experienced Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist to help identify and fix conversion leaks on an existing website with steady traffic but underperforming conversion rates.

This role is focused on data-driven analysis and practical implementation, not just surface-level audits. I need someone who can analyze user behavior, identify friction points, and recommend (and ideally help implement) changes that will directly improve conversions, sales, and/or lead generation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Conducting a full CRO audit of the website and key funnels
• Analyzing user behavior (heatmaps, session recordings, funnels, drop-offs, etc.)
• Identifying high-impact conversion barriers and opportunities
• Providing clear, prioritized, and actionable recommendations
• Optimizing landing pages, key pages, and user flows
• Supporting or implementing CRO-related design and UX improvements
• Running or planning A/B tests (if applicable)
• Tracking and reporting on conversion improvements and KPIs

What I’m Looking For

• Proven experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Strong understanding of UX, user behavior, and conversion psychology
• Experience with eCommerce, SaaS, or lead generation websites
• Ability to explain insights clearly (no bloated or overly technical reports)
• A results-focused mindset — focused on measurable improvements

Nice to Have

• Experience with tools like Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, GA4, VWO, Optimizely, or similar
• Ability to collaborate with designers/developers or support implementation
• Experience improving sales funnels and checkout flows
