Your Role as VP of AI and Knowledge Product Marketing

As the VP of AI and Knowledge Product Marketing, you will take on a strategic, customer-focused leadership role, driving the growth and vision of Teradata's AI and knowledge platform portfolio. You will ensure our products resonate with market demands by engaging with buyers and enterprise customers, translating their needs into impactful product outcomes.

Collaborative Work Environment

You will directly report to the SVP of Product Marketing and work closely with various departments within the organization to ensure alignment between product execution and corporate strategy.

  • Engineering & AI: Collaborate with engineering leaders to set technical priorities and guarantee that products offer maximum customer value at scale.
  • Go-to-Market (GTM): Partner with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align product vision with market execution and encourage adoption.
  • Product Strategy & Pricing: Lead initiatives in pricing, portfolio strategy, and ecosystem partnerships to boost our competitive edge.

You will also represent Teradata externally, collaborating with enterprise customers, partners, and industry leaders to establish our reputation as a thought leader in Autonomous AI and knowledge platforms, analytics, and AI.

Qualifications for Success

  • 15-20 years of experience in Product Marketing within the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of AI, Agentic AI, database management systems, and data warehousing markets.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in international contexts.
  • Demonstrated success in global product management within complex B2B environments.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of cloud databases, analytics platforms, and AI/ML ecosystems.
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers on both technical and business levels.
  • History of competing with or partnering with companies such as Databricks, Google BigQuery, Oracle, Microsoft, and Snowflake.
  • Successful track record in developing pricing strategies and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Able to independently drive outcomes in fast-paced, high-growth markets.

Salary Range: $239,500 - $299,300 - $359,200 annually, based on location and experience.

Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs, which include healthcare, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, and various time-off programs.
