Role Overview

The Director of Ecommerce is responsible for the, strategic leadership, and performance of Snap Supplements ecommerce business across all digital sales channels Shopify (DTC), Amazon, TikTok, and Walmart, and emerging platforms. This role builds the roadmap, and leads cross-functional execution to drive sustainable revenue growth, margin expansion, and operational excellence in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ecommerce strategy, marketplace dynamics, and digital merchandising, paired with strong leadership and cross-functional influence. They will play a pivotal role in transforming Snap Supplements’ ecommerce ecosystem into a scalable, data-driven growth engine.

Core Responsibilities

Ecommerce Strategy & Ownership

  • Maintain accurate product listings, pricing, copy, and assets across platforms
  • Price management and consistency across all channels
  • Identify growth opportunities across categories, audiences, and markets
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and marketplace opportunities

Channel Management & Optimization

  • Guide execution teams across Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, and Walmart to drive visibility, conversion, and sales
  • Optimize product content, pricing strategy, promotions, and advertising investments
  • Lead channel prioritization and investment decisions based on ROI and brand alignment
  • Partner with finance and operations to manage contribution margin, shipping costs, and profitability levers

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with brand, marketing, ops, product, and customer experience to ensure ecommerce strategy is integrated across the business
  • Lead ecommerce readiness for new product launches, campaigns, and seasonal pushes
  • Influence demand planning, fulfillment, and customer service strategies to meet ecommerce needs

Team Leadership & Org Design

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing ecommerce team, including managers and specialists
  • Set clear goals, coach team members, and foster a performance-driven culture

Data-Driven Growth & Insights

  • Lead the development of ecommerce dashboards, KPIs, and reporting frameworks
  • Analyze trends in traffic, conversion, retention, and AOV to inform strategy
  • Present insights and performance updates to executive leadership, advocating for ecommerce initiatives

Travel Requirements

Some travel (<15%) may be required on an as-needed basis with advance notice provided to the employee.

Skills and Experience

  • 5 years of progressive ecommerce experience with deep Amazon, DTC, and/or marketplace expertise
  • Proven track record owning ecommerce P&L and scaling channel revenue (ideally in CPG or VMS)
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, merchandising, and conversion optimization
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and external agency/vendor relationships
  • Analytical mindset; fluency in ecommerce metrics and tools (e.g., GA4, Shopify analytics, Helium10, etc.)
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Experience in high-growth, founder-led, or mission-driven organizations
  • Familiarity with omni-channel commerce strategy (retail + ecommerce)
  • Understanding of fulfillment models, inventory forecasting, and supply chain dependencies
  • Deep understanding of pricing psychology and bundling psychology.
  • Should be absolute super star in driving subscription and retention
  • Upsells, crossells, down sells (how it’s done and all the tools)
  • AB testing tools + knowledge of statistics
