Performance Marketing Manager
SageHome Brands LLCSageHome is reshaping the home improvement industry—one home and one brand at a time. We’re looking for a Performance Marketing Manager to manage SageHome’s lead acquisition efforts across multiple brands by managing lead aggregators and third-party vendor relationships. You won’t be setting up Google or Meta campaigns yourself—but you will be the owner of the results: responsible for tracking performance, influencing optimizations, and making smart budget decisions that reduce CAC and fuel revenue growth.
This role is ideal for someone who understands the high-stakes world of performance marketing and thrives at the intersection of vendor management, data analysis, and strategic budget oversight.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and optimize SageHome’s lead vendor relationships (e.g., aggregators, marketplaces, dealer networks), ensuring strong lead flow, quality, and alignment to brand goals
- Oversee lead acquisition performance across a portfolio of SageHome brands and geographic markets, tracking cost-per-lead (CPL), cost-per-acquisition (CPA), and conversion performance
- Collaborate with vendor partners to influence campaign strategy, targeting, ad creative, and landing pages
- Partner with Finance and Marketing leadership to forecast spend, lead volume, and marketing impact based on regional growth goals
- Perform analysis of campaign and conversion data with a winning, can-do attitude and continuously increase performance. The candidate should be an exceptional diagnostic problem solver.
- Take time to fully understand the business goals, issues and challenges and use that information to create impactful marketing solutions.
- The candidate should be extremely familiar with multiple media types and comfortable in launching comprehensive test campaigns to identify and prove-out new lead generation solutions.
- Continuously evaluate lead sources and negotiate new partnerships, contracts, and tests to diversify and strengthen the pipeline
- Identify underperforming markets or sources then recommend and implement actionable improvements
- Coordinate to ensure lead delivery, routing, and follow-up processes support ROI goals
- Audit lead quality and work with vendors to address duplicate, invalid, or poor-quality leads
- Serve as a key strategic contributor to monthly performance reviews, CAC reduction strategies, and media mix planning
- Develop and optimize multi-touch drip campaigns across email and SMS to nurture leads through the funnel, increase appointment rates, and reduce customer acquisition cost (CAC).
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to align messaging and timing of automated campaigns, ensuring consistency across the customer journey and improving conversion rates through A/B testing and performance analysis.
- Perpetually think in questions, i.e. “what if we did this different”. Work towards developing plans to improve the marketing programs and processes beyond what was given to them to achieve tangible bottom line results.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in performance marketing, data analytics, lead generation, or acquisition strategy, especially managing third-party lead vendors
- Proven ability to manage significant marketing budgets with a focus on ROI, CAC, and pipeline impact
- Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience using PowerBI, Excel, or other analytics tools to track, interpret, and act on lead data
- Comfortable negotiating with vendors, holding partners accountable to performance terms, and proactively optimizing contracts
- Innovation, creativity, and resourcefulness and most importantly problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and call tracking/reporting tools; experience attributing leads to sales performance
- Experience managing lead aggregator relationships in home improvement, home services, or similar high-ticket consumer categories
- Background in lead scoring, or state-by-state compliance preferred
- A track record of reducing CAC while scaling volume across distributed teams or multi-brand environments
- Strong collaboration skills across marketing, sales, and finance stakeholders
- High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and a desire to improve processes, performance, and outcomes continuously
