Marketing Director (Bilingual FR/EN) (Contract)
PwC CanadaReporting to the Leader responsible for Marketing and Sales, the Marketing Director has the overall accountability to lead all aspects of Marketing for PwC Canada including development and execution of marketing strategy, brand, sponsorships, thought leadership and campaigns at all levels (national, regional, industry/segment). The Marketing Director establishes and executes an annual and multi-year planning process, designs and implements an operating model to deliver on it and defines and leads the marketing team. The objectives are to drive cross-industry and LoS collaboration toward a marketing client-centric One Firm approach with defined KPA’s, to enhance the PwC brand awareness and to support growth in alignment to PwC Canada’s strategy.

As a Marketing Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develops and leads an overarching, client-centric marketing strategy aligned with firmwide sales objectives and employee engagement, collaborating closely with senior partners and the Clients & Markets team to drive revenue and growth through industry, regional, and brand initiatives
- Acts as a senior member of the Marketing and Sales leadership team, partnering with other Directors to deliver a coordinated go-to-market strategy, engaging with the Canadian Leadership Team, and representing the client’s voice to position PwC as a client-first firm
- Establishes and executes annual planning and an operating model for the marketing team, liaising with PwC’s global marketing network to leverage resources and best practices, and participating in strategic planning and firmwide transformation initiatives
- Leads national marketing strategy across strategic channels, optimizing processes and resources through a comprehensive framework, campaign planning, paid media management, and editorial governance. Champions innovation in campaign tracking, CRM integration, and data-driven performance measurement
- Supports the marketing team in addressing challenges and balancing competing priorities, ensuring delivery excellence and strong client relationships, while driving efficiency and scalability through continuous improvement and tools optimization
- Oversees the development and execution of high-impact campaigns and national sponsorships, collaborating with digital, editorial, and social teams to maintain a consistent narrative, maximize audience engagement, and elevate brand visibility and measurable growth
- Develops and nurtures strategic relationships with global counterparts to drive alignment, share best practices, and promote innovation across markets and campaigns; co-leads brand refresh initiatives with the Brand team to ensure consistent compliance and measurable brand impact across all channels
- Co-leads the Brand workstream, engaging and aligning cross-functional teams, including sales, editorial, digital, and communications, to drive cohesive brand strategy and execution
- Builds, develops, and leads a high-performing marketing team by coaching senior managers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, while guiding organizational restructuring and team realignment
- Fosters leadership development and collaboration through monthly forums and quarterly training, leads change communications during transitions, and designs client-centric marketing strategies aligned with sales goals and business objectives
Experiences And Skills You’ll Use To Solve
- Demonstrated leadership experience in B2B marketing, with proven operational excellence, strategic planning, and team development in complex, matrixed organizations
- Expertise in cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership, sales, digital, and communications teams to drive measurable growth across multiple regions and industries
- Experience in leading organizational transformation, including brand refresh initiatives, marketing taxonomy redesign, and strategic workforce planning
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging senior stakeholders and representing marketing efforts at the firmwide level
- Strong people management skills, with a track record of mentoring high-performing teams and overseeing recruitment and onboarding processes
- Strategic content and campaign management experience, including editorial direction, national sponsorships, and audience engagement optimization through digital tools and performance metrics
- Knowledge of CRM systems, CASL regulations, and French language requirements for Canadian marketing and compliance
- The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
- This is a 14-month full-time contract opportunity

The salary range for this position is $162,000 - $212,000. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
