Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly organized Social Media Manager to lead content storytelling and community engagement across multiple brand pages. In this role, you’ll play a key part in connecting with our global audience, creating viral content, and fostering community growth across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook, YouTube, and more.
Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy & Execution
- Plan, manage, and post up to 20+ pieces of content daily across multiple platforms and brand pages.
- Maintain a central content repository for video footage, images, audio, and finalized content.
- Work closely with the editing team, talent, and engagement team to meet deadlines from concept to publishing.
- Stay current on social trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to guide content strategy.
Community Management
- Monitor, track, and respond to online conversations in a timely and brand-consistent manner.
- Cultivate relationships with our online community by being active, responsive, and personable.
- Foster an inclusive and open digital environment where fans feel connected and valued.
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key community and content metrics (video views, reach, engagement, sentiment, conversions).
- Use data to refine strategies, identify trends, and report on content effectiveness and community growth.
- Present actionable insights to internal teams to align with broader brand goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media for a brand, influencer, or entertainment platform.
- Expert knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Snapchat, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with a knack for creating engaging, on-brand messaging.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative teams under tight deadlines.
- High emotional intelligence and empathy, with a passion for community building.
- Proficiency in basic content creation tools (e.g., Canva, KapKat, IG Edits).
- Experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
- A passion for reptiles, exotic animals, or wildlife education.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Background in content production or influencer/media brand management.
- Experience managing large-scale content calendars and influencer partnerships.
