Senior Director of Product Marketing Strategy and Insights

We are seeking a seasoned and insightful leader to spearhead our Product Marketing Strategy and Insights function, reporting directly to the VP of Product Marketing. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for driving product launches, developing valuable competitive intelligence, and consistently reporting on progress across initiatives.
Your responsibilities will include
- Product Launch Process - Develop a comprehensive product market launch framework and operating model that aligns with product development and sales objectives.
- Product Launch Management - Oversee the planning and execution of key product launches, coordinating activities such as events and webinars and ensuring alignment with development and sales teams.
- Competitive Intelligence - Lead a team to create a competitive intelligence program that serves as the authoritative source for competitive dynamics, providing sales teams with critical insights and strategies for success.
- Repeatable Sales Plays - Collaborate with product marketing managers and sales teams to define and implement repeatable sales motions that drive annual goals for pipeline, billings, and new customer acquisition.
- Planning and Coordination - Organize and manage the quarterly and yearly planning operations for product marketing, including reporting results to key stakeholders and facilitating leadership meetings and presentations.
- Standards and Best Practices - Establish consistent templates, frameworks, and guidelines for the team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Portfolio-level Content and Enablement - Lead the planning and delivery of high-quality content for cross-product initiatives, including launch content, major event tracks, and sales enablement programs aimed at revenue growth.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, market research, or related fields.
- 5+ years in a leadership role within marketing, adept at managing multiple projects concurrently while meeting timelines.
- Strong project management and planning capabilities.
- Ability to handle individual contributor tasks alongside team management responsibilities, including mentoring.
- Excellent analytical abilities with experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven track record of delivering results effectively and with urgency when required.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong relationship-building skills at all leadership levels, with a history of managing by influence.
- Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-growth companies.
- Background in the software/SaaS/B2B technology sector is preferred.
- Experience in product marketing with a focus on large-scale launches.
The base salary range for this position is $180,000 - $304,000 USD, with potential eligibility for bonuses, equity, and benefits.
