Join our team as a Principal Infrastructure Engineer to lead and support high-impact networking and infrastructure initiatives across MSK. This role blends technical strategy with hands-on execution in a dynamic environment. You'll need a strong foundation in networking, the drive to take ownership, and the adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
Role Overview
- Lead design, implementation, and optimization of MSK’s network infrastructure including routing, wireless, and (ideally) optical networking.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert on enterprise networking systems, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
- Manage infrastructure implementation projects and upgrades across multiple departments and platforms.
- Provide high-level troubleshooting and resolution of complex networking and infrastructure issues.
- Configure and administer network components to support end-user needs and system functionality.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to align infrastructure with operational goals.
- Coordinate integration testing, system validation, and post-implementation support activities.
- Document system architecture, technical specifications, and configuration guidelines for knowledge sharing and support continuity.
- Play a critical role in onboarding, helping to navigate the organization’s structure and internal processes effectively.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in infrastructure engineering with a strong focus on networking.
- Advanced Cisco certification (e.g., CCNP or CCIE) strongly preferred.
- Hands-on industry experience with network routing, design, wireless, and ideally optical technologies.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

Additional Information
- Pay Range: $164,100.00-$270,900.00
- Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST, Monday – Friday with flexibility as needed
- Location: Hybrid; 3-4 times a week at either NYC or NJ site

Benefits
