As the Chief Marketing Officer, you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and assume ultimate responsibility for the company's global marketing initiatives. Global Marketing Strategy

Brand & Positioning

Product Marketing Leadership

Content & Communications Strategy

Team Leadership & Development

Implement and manage a robust marketing technology stack (MarTech) and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives. Budget & Resource Management
Develop and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve strategic goals and maximize return on investment.

Serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, CRO, CPO, and other executive leaders. Provide market insights, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to inform overall business strategy.
Requirements for the Chief Marketing Officer with an AdTech Platform - Austin, TX
Executive Experience
A minimum of 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP of Marketing, CMO) within a B2B SaaS, AdTech, or MarTech company.
Industry Expertise
Deep, demonstrable knowledge of the advertising technology ecosystem is mandatory. You must be fluent in the language of programmatic advertising, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, identity resolution, and data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA).
Proven Growth Record
A track record of successfully scaling a B2B technology company from one stage of growth to the next (e.g., from $20M to $100M+ ARR). Experience in a venture-backed environment is highly preferred.

Technical Proficiency
Hands-on experience with modern MarTech stacks, including marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot), CRM systems (Salesforce), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau), and ABM platforms.
Communication Skills
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You must be a compelling storyteller, a confident presenter, and an articulate spokesperson capable of engaging with customers, partners, investors, and the media.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is required. An MBA or other advanced degree is strongly preferred.
