Field Marketing Representative

In this role, you will connect with prospective customers at home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events through face-to-face interactions. You'll have the chance to demonstrate Patio Enclosures products, helping clients understand the benefits of our offerings. We seek someone who is positive, energetic, and comfortable engaging directly with clients.

Hourly Base Pay: $18.00 per hour plus commission. Compensation increases based on performance.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Smartphone for timekeeping and appointment setting

Responsibilities

• Represent Patio Enclosures or one of Great Day's home improvement brands at local events
• Engage potential customers in conversations to promote our brand's products and services
• Transport and set up/tear down exhibit displays and materials according to guidelines
• Schedule free inspections and estimates with potential customers
• Generate leads through enthusiastic and informative communication
• Work independently or in teams, representing the brand with passion and professionalism
• Adapt to various event environments and engage with a diverse range of customer personalities
• Participate in door-to-door marketing as needed
• Manage flexible work hours, including daytime, evenings, and weekends
• Submit all timecards and paperwork promptly

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage customers energetically and meaningfully
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for connecting with people
• Ability to inform and persuade while promoting the brand's value
• Resilient in handling rejection while maintaining a positive demeanor
• Team-oriented but able to take initiative at events
• Adaptable to work in both indoor and outdoor environments

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in sales or marketing is preferred but not necessary
• Previous experience in tradeshow marketing or customer-facing roles is advantageous
• Experience in inside or outside sales is helpful but not mandatory
