About the Role

The E-Commerce Manager leads the digital retail experience across all brands and markets, ensuring every customer-facing menu reflects the company’s brand identity, compliance requirements, and customer experience standards. This role balances creative vision and technical precision — overseeing imagery creation, digital merchandising, and menu optimization while collaborating closely with Marketing, Systems, and Store Operations to deliver a cohesive and high-performing e-commerce experience.

The ideal candidate combines retail e-commerce expertise with strong UI/UX understanding, hands-on experience creating and curating imagery for online menus, familiarity with AI tools for automation and design, and a strategic mindset that bridges operational efficiency with creative storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and execution of e-commerce menus across all brands and regions.
  • Manage and mentor E-Commerce Specialists, setting clear priorities, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Partner with Marketing to design, produce, and deploy customer-facing imagery that elevates product presentation and aligns with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Systems to implement, test, and optimize new features, integrations, and platform improvements.
  • Ensure menu accuracy through structured audits of listings, pricing, inventory, discounts, and compliance data.
  • Lead product pinning and curation strategies to highlight key SKUs and drive engagement.
  • Build and manage collections for promotions, campaigns, and seasonal groupings.
  • Apply UX/UI principles to refine the online shopping journey, simplifying navigation and increasing conversion.
  • Integrate AI tools for content generation, imagery enhancement, product tagging, and workflow automation.
  • Analyze e-commerce data (conversion rates, engagement, product performance) and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain consistent digital brand presence through imagery, tone, and category organization.
  • Communicate feature needs and enhancement requests to vendor partners (e.g., Dutchie, Lucid, Alpine IQ).
  • Document and uphold menu SOPs for operational consistency and visual standards.
  • Stay informed on digital commerce, UX, and AI trends to continuously enhance customer experience.

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of e-commerce or digital retail management experience; cannabis or multi-location retail experience preferred.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional projects with Marketing, Systems, and Operations. Demonstrated ability to create, direct, or oversee imagery and content for customer-facing menus.
  • Expertise in digital merchandising, UI/UX, and retail analytics.
  • Technical fluency with e-commerce platforms (Dutchie, Shopify, Woo Commerce, Shop, or similar).
  • Familiarity with AI-based tools for design, content creation, or process automation.
  • Strong creative and strategic mindset with a keen visual sense.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to balance brand aesthetics with data-driven decision-making.
