Role Objective

As a core member of the GOJO Amazon team, the Marketing Manager owns the management of the detailed, complex and dynamic Amazon infrastructure. This role leads qualitative and quantitative Amazon merchandising initiatives, ensuring GOJO’s content strategy aligns with Amazon specific shopper needs across onsite content development, new item creation, catalog attribution, and content scorecard performance. It also requires understanding and using critical thinking to navigate and problem solve in the continually changing areas of product, merchandising, sales and marketing.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Optimization

Owns Amazon content strategy; ensures all content (copy, imagery, rich media, brand storytelling, and catalog data) is optimized to meet Amazon‑specific shopper expectations and drive conversion.

Evaluates content performance, identifies high‑impact optimization opportunities, and leads cross‑functional teams to develop and deliver best‑in‑class assets and copy.

Monitors Ratings & Reviews, analyzes shopper feedback and category trends, and leverages Amazon Vine insights to guide content updates and stakeholder recommendations.

Identifies and evaluates new Amazon marketing tools and integrates high‑value capabilities into marketing initiatives.

Content Syndication, Quality & Catalog Readiness

Oversees Amazon‑specific content syndication and ensures accurate attribute alignment across Digital Asset Management and Product Information Management systems.

Leverages Amazon content management tools to ensure GOJO products meet Merchandising Item Detail Quality (IDQ) targets.

Executes end‑to‑end new item commercialization, ensuring catalog data, content, and assets are optimized for discoverability and conversion from day one.

Identifies root causes of suppression issues and partners with key stakeholders to resolve data gaps and restore item health.

Shopper Experience, Brand Presence & Conversion

Manages Amazon Brand Store pages; develops and deploys content that elevates brand presence and supports curated product assortments.

Supports Amazon media strategy by developing and optimizing advertising assets.

Manages Amazon A/B tests and content experiments to validate messaging and improve conversion.

Manages keyword analysis and Share‑of‑Voice trackers to strengthen visibility and competitive positioning.

Governance, Compliance & Cross‑Functional Leadership:

Manages the GOJO Authorized Reseller Program to protect marketplace integrity.

Owns Brand Registry processes to safeguard GOJO brand assets on Amazon.

Partners with Marketing Services to apply Amazon content insights across omnichannel initiatives.

Education and Experience

BA, BS degree (MBA preferred) with four plus (4+) years with related marketing experience

Proficient in Excel/Tableau; building, maintaining, and analyzing spreadsheets for tracking, reporting, and decision-making.

Deep expertise with Amazon Vendor Central, listing optimization, and A+ content.

Familiarity with Amazon marketplace analytics tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Flywheel, etc.)

Working knowledge of digital analytics / KPIs.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Experience in using a content management system.

Supervision/Coordination

Reports to Vice President Sales and Marketing - eCommerce

Works collaboratively with GOJO cross-functional partners in marketing, customer service, product management, finance, accounting, supply chain

Compensation & Benefits

The expected starting pay for this role is between 83,800.00 - 115,300.00 per year. Within this range, an offer will depend on factors such as level of experience and technical competencies relevant to this specific role, as well as internal equity considerations.
