What You Will Do

Freshpet is looking for an eCommerce Intern for Summer 2026 within the corporate eCommerce team, based in Bedminster, NJ. This internship will support Digital Shelf Optimization initiatives across major eCommerce platforms. Internship dates are approximately June 2026 through September 2026. You will be working Monday – Friday, approximately 40 hours per week.

This person will lead a project to analyze and improve product content, findability, attribution, and storytelling across retailer websites. Responsibilities include supporting content optimization, product attribution, performance analytics, and SEO/AI-enabled search and shopping enablement efforts.

How You Will Make an Impact (provide key responsibilities of the role)

This position will support the eCommerce team in improving how Freshpet products are discovered, evaluated, and purchased across major online retail platforms. The eCommerce Intern will contribute to initiatives that enhance digital shelf execution by improving product content, accuracy, and visibility. The intern will gain practical, hands-on experience working with real eCommerce data and tools in a fast-paced, growth-oriented consumer brand environment.

Specific tasks and project assignments will support a wide range of eCommerce and digital shelf optimization responsibilities.

Some Examples Could Include

• Reviewing and improving product content across retailer websites
• Supporting product tagging, taxonomy, and attribute accuracy
• Assisting with basic performance and content quality analysis
• Supporting SEO and AI-enabled search optimization (AEO) initiatives
• Partnering with internal teams and agencies on defined eCommerce projects

What You Will Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Advertising, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, digital culture, and creator marketing.
• Familiarity with major social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and X.
• Comfortable analyzing social content and performance data, with strong attention to detail.
• Clear written communication skills and the ability to articulate feedback constructively.
• Highly organized, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Previous internship or campus experience in social, media or marketing is a plus, but not required.
