SEO & Google My Business Optimization

We are looking for an experienced SEO professional who specializes in local SEO and Google My Business (Google Business Profile) optimization.

The goal is to improve our local search visibility, increase GMB ranking, and generate more calls, website visits, and leads.

This project is for a local service business based in Los Angeles (basketball training program + additional service businesses).

We want someone who can work long-term.

Responsibilities

• Google My Business (GMB) / GBP Optimization
• Audit existing GMB profile and fix all issues
• Optimize business categories, description, services, and attributes
• Geo-tag and upload photos
• Add weekly posts on GMB with correct keywords
• Improve NAP consistency across directories
• Improve local map pack ranking
• Increase call volume, direction clicks, and visibility

SEO / Website Optimization

• Keyword research (local, high-intent keywords)
• On-page SEO fixes (meta tags, headings, structure, internal linking)
• Off-page SEO (local backlinks, business citations)
• Competitor analysis (local competitors)
• Monthly reporting (rankings, traffic, GMB insights)

Requirements

• Proven experience with local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
• Ability to show previous GMB ranking improvements (before/after)
• Strong English communication
• Must understand Los Angeles local search environment

Familiar with tools: SEMrush / Ahrefs / BrightLocal / Whitespark / SurferSEO (any is fine)

• 30-day optimization plan
• Weekly GMB posts
• Monthly keyword ranking report
• Increase in calls, impressions, and map pack ranking
