Full Job Description

As a Media Campaign/Performance Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for the execution and optimization of both traditional and digital media campaigns. You will own campaign setup, execution, and ongoing performance management, working closely with analysts, designers, web specialists, and stakeholders to ensure our advertising investments drive measurable business outcomes. In addition to day-to-day optimization, you will help shape strategy, provide platform guidance, and identify opportunities to improve performance across accounts.

What you'll get the opportunity to do

Campaign Management and Execution

· Set up, launch, and manage media campaigns across diverse platforms, aligning with business objectives and KPIs

· Proactively monitor live campaigns for performance, accurate implementation, and continuous optimization

· Effectively manage and track budget to ensure campaigns achieve target outcomes

Media Planning & Performance Optimization

· Create media plans, ensuring flight dates, budgets, and channel allocations are accurately documented

· Monitor campaign performance and pacing to identify risks and opportunities

· Recommend data-driven optimization strategies based on performance trends and established best practices

· Implement approved optimization tactics to improve delivery and results

· Search Engine Marketing/Search Engine Optimization (SEM/SEO)

Reporting and Troubleshooting

· Generate and maintain accurate campaign performance reports on a regular cadence

· Review performance data to identify trends, abnormalities, or delivery risks

· Identify and support the resolution of executional, delivery, or data integrity issues in collaboration with senior team members and cross-functional partners.

Team & Process Improvement

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, boosting campaign execution and operational efficiency by sharing learnings and feedback

· Execute cross-promotions with our Partners and Clients

· Collaborate with local/regional tourism groups and boards of trade to establish opportunities within the Clarington and Durham Region

What you'll bring to the team

  • Strong working knowledge of Google Ads and Meta Ads (hands on platform experience)
  • Proven experience managing large advertising budgets with performance-based allocation
  • Experience developing media strategies in addition to executing campaigns
  • SEO experience is an asset
  • Comfortable diagnosing underperforming campaigns and identifying root causes
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain performance and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is a full-time position based at the CTMP office located at 3233 Concession Rd. #10 in Bowmanville.
