Ecommerce Marketing Manager to Blåkläder

We are looking for a talented Ecom Marketing Manager to join our team and take ownership of the end-to-end customer experience across our digital channels—elevating our direct-to-consumer marketing through strategic planning, engaging content, and data-driven campaigns that drive performance, brand awareness and loyalty.
About the Role
As the Ecom Marketing Manager, you are the primary owner of the user experience across Blåkläder’s website, responsible for optimizing every step of the customer journey—from discovery to purchase and beyond. You’ll lead the strategy and execution of digital marketing initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across DTC channels. This includes overseeing performance marketing campaigns, email strategies, on-site merchandising, and funnel optimization. You will ensure a seamless, high-performing, and brand-aligned experience for all site visitors, with the ultimate goal of driving growth, customer satisfaction, and retention. You'll collaborate across departments to create compelling campaigns and user experiences that reflect Blåkläder’s values and drive measurable results. You will report to the President of Blaklader North America.
Key Responsibilities
Website & Ecommerce Management
- Own the end-to-end user experience across the Blåkläder DTC website, ensuring a frictionless and engaging customer journey from first click through to checkout and post-purchase.
- Regularly update and merchandise the site with new content, promotions, and product launches, ensuring consistency with broader marketing campaigns.
- Lead conversion rate optimization efforts through A/B testing, heatmaps, customer feedback, and analytics to continuously improve performance.
- Work closely with design, development, and operations teams to implement UX/UI improvements that enhance usability, accessibility, and overall satisfaction.
- Leverage analytics to understand user behavior, identify drop-off points, and optimize the funnel at every stage—from acquisition to retention.
Marketing Strategy & Planning
- Assist in the development and execution of the yearly marketing plan for Blåkläder’s DTC channels.
- Identify key opportunities for campaigns, product launches, and promotions based on industry trends and customer insights.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, design) to ensure all marketing initiatives align with business objectives.
- Help manage the marketing calendar, ensuring timely delivery of campaigns and content across digital platforms.
Digital Advertising & Campaigns
- Develop digital advertising strategies (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, display ads, etc.) to drive brand awareness, traffic, and sales on Blåkläder's website.
- Work closely with internal teams/agencies to optimize ad copy, visuals, and targeting to ensure high-performing campaigns.
- Analyze ad performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed to improve ROI and conversion rates.
- Maintain a deep understanding of paid media trends, best practices, and new opportunities for paid campaigns.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor the performance of all digital marketing initiatives, providing regular reports on key KPIs (e.g., traffic, sales, engagement, conversion rates).
- Use data-driven insights to adjust marketing strategies, optimize campaigns, and refine content creation.
- Stay up to date on marketing trends, tools, and emerging platforms to recommend innovative approaches to the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with the social media team to ensure a cohesive digital strategy that integrates paid advertising, content marketing, and organic social growth.
- Work with product and design teams to ensure promotional materials and content reflect the latest product offerings and align with brand messaging.
- Coordinate with customer service and sales teams to ensure consistency in communication and promotions across all customer touchpoints.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on DTC Ecommerce brands.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience managing online advertising campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, Display Ads) and email marketing platforms.
- Strong creative skills, with experience in content creation, including photography, videography, and copywriting.
- Proficiency in marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, email platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo), and CMS (Shopify, WordPress, etc.).
- Experience in A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, and website UX best practices.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to optimize campaigns and strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with SEO and content optimization for online platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with photo/video editing software (Adobe Creative Suite or similar).
- Passion for workwear and outdoor gear is a plus!
