POSITION DESCRIPTION – Digital Marketing Associate

apetito is a global leader in the supply of nutritious, great-tasting meals for hospitals, care homes and Meals on Wheels across Canada, USA, Germany, the UK, France, and the Netherlands. This role offers the right candidate a fantastic opportunity to contribute across a wide range of activities within a dynamic and ambitious marketing team. This position will be responsible for supporting & collaborating with the Marketing Manager in executing key elements of the marketing plan with focus & ownership of the maintaining and improving apetito’s digital platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, updating and administrating all apetito Canada platforms. These administrative duties will run parallel to developing and executing on a digital marketing strategy to grow the traffic of our digital platforms. They will also work closely with vendors including creative suppliers, agencies, and printers. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the sales function through excellent digital merchandising and brand growth. All of these responsibilities will provide direct visibility to the Executive Director of Sales and Marketing.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze marketing performance, report on KPIs, and suggest data-driven optimizations.
  • Manage the updating of online supplier portals and product listings to ensure all information is uploaded appropriately.
  • Create high quality product photography for online platforms and storefronts

· Develop digital campaigns, including copywriting, and content strategy

· Assist in providing Sales team support, including tradeshows, customer communications, CRM maintenance & best practice and occasional customer visits.

· Manage the maintenance of the website and use new media as appropriate to engage customers.

  • Support the marketing team with the creation of marketing materials including the Meals on Wheels menu brochure, point of sale sheets, advertisements, show booth, uniforms, giveaways, etc.
  • Support the launch of innovation projects with key marketing elements.
  • Manage the updating of online supplier portals and product listings to ensure all information is uploaded appropriately.
  • Participate in strategy calls with all partner marketing agencies (digital, design, media buying, print).
  • Other duties as they arise.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, content strategy, or communications.
  • Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience required.
  • University Degree or College Diploma (marketing or project management related fields preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills – must be able to juggle and execute multiple projects
  • Proven ability to adhere to the brand standards and procedures required by apetito

Desirable

  • Bilingualism
  • Knowledge of photography principles
  • Prior experience in using digital marketing tools such as CRMs and marketing automation applications is a strong asset
  • Understanding of creating marketing campaigns for brands to reach target audiences and customer segments
  • understanding of design principles

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
