Ecommerce Manager

80Twenty

Our client is a global beauty powerhouse that has quietly become the market leader in two major categories — with distribution across 100+ countries and estimated revenue exceeding $500M.

Founded on a genuinely entrepreneurial story and still privately held, the company operates with the speed and decisiveness you'd expect from a founder-led business — but at a scale most brands never reach. Its multi-brand portfolio spans retail presence at Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, and Rite Aid, alongside a growing direct-to-consumer business.

The growth agenda is active and ambitious. Amazon US operations are being scaled into international marketplaces including EU, AU, and IN. DTC investment is accelerating. Strategic brand collaborations — including recent partnerships with Prabal Gurung, kate spade new york, and major entertainment franchises — are driving product innovation. And in early 2026, a strategic acquisition signaled a deliberate move upmarket into premium beauty.

This is a company at an inflection point. The eCommerce organization is scaling globally, and this role sits at the center of that build.

The eCommerce Business Planning Team Lead will own end-to-end business planning, P&L performance, and global marketplace expansion across the company's integrated eCommerce organization — spanning two DTC platforms and Amazon US and international channels.

This is not a reporting role or a support function. It is a strategic operator position with direct influence over how the global eCommerce business is planned, resourced, and executed. The person in this seat will serve as the connective tissue between strategy and execution — coordinating across Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and regional stakeholders to drive disciplined, scalable growth. Reporting into senior eCommerce leadership, this role carries genuine visibility and decision-making authority. It is built for someone who thinks commercially, operates with rigor, and knows how to lead without always having direct authority.

What You'll Own

Business Planning & Strategy

  • Lead annual and quarterly business planning across global eCommerce — budgets, targets, and rolling forecasts
  • Own topline, margin, and investment planning across DTC platforms and Amazon marketplaces (US, EU, AU, IN)
  • Translate corporate strategy into clear, executable eCommerce plans

P&L & Performance Management

  • Own global eCommerce P&L tracking and performance reviews
  • Identify risks and opportunities across regions, channels, and marketplaces
  • Partner with Finance, CMI, and Operations to drive data-informed decisions and keep leadership ahead of what's coming

Global Marketplace Expansion

  • Coordinate the expansion of Amazon operations into international markets
  • Support market entry planning across assortment, pricing, cost structure, advertising, and compliance
  • Serve as the central coordination point between HQ and regional stakeholders — ensuring global consistency without sacrificing local relevance

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Drive alignment across Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, IT, and external partners
  • Lead regular business reviews and executive-level updates
  • Serve as a trusted decision-making partner for leadership on global eCommerce priorities

Process & Governance

  • Build and improve the planning, reporting, and governance infrastructure that scales
  • Ensure accountability against timelines, budgets, and commitments
  • Improve visibility across a complex, multi-channel, multi-market organization

What This Role Requires

  • 8+ years in eCommerce, business planning, or commercial strategy
  • Hands-on Amazon experience — 1P preferred
  • Proven P&L ownership or management
  • Experience supporting or leading international eCommerce expansion
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Clear, confident communicator with cross-functional leadership credibility

Preferred

  • Background in beauty, CPG, or consumer brands
  • Experience with Amazon international marketplaces (EU, AU, IN)
  • Experience in matrix or multi-brand environments
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling; BI tools a plus

Why This Role

Global scale with entrepreneurial speed. Products in 100+ countries, decisions made without bureaucratic drag. A growth agenda international expansion — that creates sustained opportunity for the people building it.

The company supports its people well: competitive compensation, 401K matching up to 5%, onsite gym, daily meals, and employee shuttle service.

If you're a sharp commercial operator who wants to own something meaningful inside a category defining brand — this is worth a conversation.
