Wells Fargo is seeking a Product Manager Senior Manager for the Home Lending Product team focused on the customer and sales point of sale experience—from digital and assisted channels via the point of sale (POS) through to the loan origination system (LOS). The Home Lending Product organization is responsible for designing and driving technology-focused changes across Home Lending to deliver a streamlined, omni-channel experience across the end-to-end home lending journey.

As a Product Manager Senior Manager, it will be critical for you to bring a strategic mindset and passion for delivering frictionless customer and team member experiences. You will partner closely with agile product managers, delivery teams, sales, and technology partners to define and deliver capabilities across POS and LOS that enable a consistent experience across channels (digital, distributed and consumer direct). Delivery of outcomes will be through ownership of the product backlog, including feature prioritization, transparency into upcoming work, setting product goals, and stakeholder communication. This role also includes setting a product vision and establishing a forward-looking roadmap for the take-application journey in alignment with critical business priorities. A key component of the role is building and owning the relationship with third-party vendor that provide core POS capabilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage and develop a team that leads product strategy and delivery for the take-application experience across POS and LOS

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for a streamlined, omni-channel application experience (digital and assisted) via point of sale (POS) through to the loan origination system (LOS)

  • Translate customer and sales needs into clear business requirements, epics, features, and acceptance criteria; identify and recommend opportunities for product enhancements across POS/LOS

  • Drive prioritization and sequencing across multiple workstreams (vendor deliverables, internal integration work, and operational change) to deliver moderate to high risk outcomes

  • Partner with Sales, Technology, Legal, Risk, and Compliance to align on experience, policy, and control requirements that impact POS/LOS workflows

  • Collaborate and consult with product managers, analysts, engineers, and leaders across multiple levels to deliver a consistent omni-channel experience

  • Own the relationship with the third-party vendor supporting POS capabilities, including governance routines, delivery commitments, issue escalation, and roadmap alignment

  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to deliver the take-application product roadmap and required operational changes

  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development and product discipline to meet business objectives and strategy

  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals including senior managers to achieve consistent agreement and application of definitions, measurements, and interpretation as well as provide strategic consultation based on unique, complex HL use cases

  • Provide leadership and guidance in the continuing development of origination tooling objectives, processes, and long-term goals, with a focus on POS/LOS-enabled workflows

  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements by embedding controls and governance into POS/LOS processes and supporting documentation

  • Foster a strong agile discipline that inspires teams to continuously improve delivery evidenced through key agility metrics 

  • Build frameworks for complex decision making that enable effective debate and accelerate getting to the right answer 


Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • 3+ years of Management or leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering customer and sales take-application experiences across channels, including hands-on partnership with point of sale (POS) and/or loan origination system (LOS) platforms

  • Experienced in leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and emerging AI technologies to drive product innovation, enhance user experiences, and inform data-driven decision-making

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, drive consensus, and influence outcomes across business, technology, operations, and third-party partners

  • Strong relationship management skills, including owning a third-party vendor partnership (governance, SLAs, roadmaps, escalations) for core origination capabilities

  • Experience building relationships across lines of businesses, influencing partners, as well as providing credible and effective challenge.

  • Proven success recruiting, inspiring, developing, coaching, and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and retention and performance management.

  • Ability to combine a perpetual interest in learning, and deep knowledge of industry best practices/standards to build a world class organization.

  • Experience leading transformation efforts and executing large, complex initiatives within a matrixed environment, including process + technology change across multiple customer channels

  • Experience defining and delivering integration requirements (for example, APIs, data exchanges, and workflow orchestration) between third-party POS and LOS solutions and downstream systems

  • Experience in the banking and financial sectors, particularly related to Home Lending, Credit, and/or Risk Management

  • Experience in Product Management, Business Transformation, Data, Analytics, Reporting, Management Consulting, Project Management, Strategic Planning, or Technology experience.

  • Agile Product Owner Experience and knowledge of Agile strategy, development methodologies, and tools working directly with Technology teams in managing agile delivery of a product.

  • Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives.

  • Ability to understand technical policy requirements to help support the implementation of data management policies.

  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment 

  • Experience with providing detailed, thorough, and accurate documentation procedures and repeatability standards 

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to synthesize multi-dimensional, complex, and interrelated concepts into clear, consumable, implications, actions, and decisions

Job Expectations:

  • This position requires compliance with all mortgages regulatory requirements and Wells Fargo’s compliance policies related to these requirements. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and required reporting of certain incidents.
