Summary The Digital Marketing & Web Coordinator (Summer Student) will support the Marketing team with website development, digital asset management, and general marketing coordination and administrative tasks. This role is ideal for a student interested in digital marketing, web content management, and marketing operations, and will provide hands-on experience working with website content management systems, Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM), email marketing platforms, and marketing databases.

Programs of Study

Students currently enrolled in or recently graduated from one of the following programs are preferred:

  • Digital Marketing
  • Interactive Media Design
  • Web Development
  • Digital Media
  • Marketing Technology Management
  • Communications or related digital-focused program

Key Responsibilities

Website

  • Build and update website pages using a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress, Shopify, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar
  • Upload product guides and marketing collateral to the website
  • Add and format images for web use
  • Write or upload product descriptions and website copy
  • Add SEO titles and meta descriptions
  • Test links and ensure pages are functioning properly
  • Update resource and download pages

Adobe Digital Asset Management (DAM)

  • Upload marketing collateral and digital assets
  • Rename files according to company naming conventions
  • Add tags and metadata to improve searchability
  • Organize folders and maintain a clean and logical file structure
  • Archive outdated materials as required

General Marketing Support

  • Create and organize Mailchimp email lists
  • Assist with building email templates
  • Data entry and CRM database cleanup
  • Assist with general marketing coordination and administrative tasks as directed

Must Have Skills

  • Experience updating website pages using a CMS (WordPress, Shopify, Adobe Experience Manager, or similar)
  • Strong file management and organization skills
  • Ability to rename and organize files accurately and consistently
  • Basic image resizing and formatting knowledge
  • Experience working with PDFs and document uploads
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience using Excel for tracking and organizing information
  • Ability to follow processes and procedures
  • Must hold a valid G driver’s licence and have reliable transportation to commute to work daily.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Adobe Experience Manager
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Experience writing product copy or website content
  • Basic HTML knowledge
  • Experience resizing images for web
