Recruitment, Design, & Marketing Analyst- Hybrid Telework

This limited term position may be extended up to 24 months and has the possibility of becoming permanent.

The California Department of State Hospitals is looking for a full-time, limited term Recruitment Design and Marketing Analyst to join our team in the Recruitment Unit!

This is an entry-level, creative-forward role that will provide support to our current in-house graphic design and marketing efforts. We're looking for someone with strong visual communication and illustration skills, and an understanding of industry-standard marketing principles and practices. Because our team's mission is focused on recruitment and outreach, our ideal candidate will also have an understanding of the skills and abilities necessary to attract applicants to fill our vacancies.

On-the-job tasks will include assisting with recruitment-focused print and layout design projects, creating illustrations and other custom assets in line with the department's brand guidelines, and collaborating with other areas within the department on design-related projects. This role will also be responsible for assisting with recruitment-focused marketing campaigns, social media posting, and direct candidate communication, primarily using LinkedIn.

Occasional travel for creative projects and recruitment-related outreach may be required.
