Flexographic And/Or Digital Press Operator

Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Flexographic or Digital Label Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating flexographic and/or digital printing presses, a strong understanding of print quality standards, die cutting, laminating and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain printing presses
• Monitor print quality and make adjustments to ensure consistency and accuracy
• Read and interpret job orders, specifications, and production schedules
• Manage color consistency throughout production runs
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot press equipment issues
• Ensure proper material usage and minimize waste
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years of experience operating flexographic or digital printing presses
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of printing substrates, die cutting, laminating, varnishes, inks, plates, and anilox systems
• Ability to identify and correct print defects
• Experience with digital web printing technology is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime if needed

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with flexographic and/or digital printing systems and workflows
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs
• Basic computer skills for job tracking and reporting

Work EnvironmentThis role operates in a manufacturing/production setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and ink materials. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting materials as needed. Occasional overtime may be offered.
