Role Overview

The Online Marketing Assistant will support the execution of digital marketing initiatives across social media, email, and website platforms. You will help create engaging content, support campaigns, and contribute to growing Myco Pet’s online presence and brand awareness.

Responsibilities

• Create and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other platforms
• Assist in filming and editing short-form video content (Reels, TikToks)
• Support email marketing campaigns and promotional launches
• Write blog posts and website content optimized for SEO
• Assist with influencer outreach and brand ambassador programs
• Monitor engagement metrics and report on performance
• Support updates to Shopify website and landing pages
• Research trends in pet health, wellness, and digital marketing
• Collaborate with team members on marketing campaigns and initiatives
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in marketing, business, or communications is an asset
• Strong interest in social media and digital marketing
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, or similar tools is an asset
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Creative mindset with attention to detail
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with Shopify, email marketing platforms, or analytics tools is a plus
• Proficiency in ChatGPT, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Google Calendar

• Be between 15–30 years of age at the start of employment
• Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person (refugee status)
• Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN)
• International students or individuals on work/visitor visas are not eligible

Job Type: Seasonal

Contract length: 9 weeks

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
