E-commerce Manager

Joseph James Furniture Outlet is looking for a highly motivated and experienced E-Commerce Manager to take charge of our online sales. This is an exciting opportunity to grow our digital presence, manage online listings, and drive revenue across multiple platforms.

About the Role

As E-Commerce Manager, you will be responsible for listing products on eBay, our website, and other online marketplaces, as well as implementing digital marketing strategies to attract and convert customers. You will play a key role in developing our online sales channels, ensuring product visibility, and optimising the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a team of remote freelancers (across the globe) who list items across platforms
• Ensure all listings are optimised with high-quality images, descriptions, and pricing
• Work with the team to improve the overall online shopping experience.
• Monitor competitor activity and pricing to stay competitive in the market.
• Analyse sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage online customer inquiries and maintain a high level of service.
• Automate and Outsource the time-consuming elements of the role to remote freelance partners
• Close deals with fast and convincing responses to online enquiries

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in e-commerce management, ideally within the furniture or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of eBay and online marketplaces
• Understanding of SEO and digital marketing to drive online sales.
• Ability to write engaging product descriptions and optimise listings for conversion.
• A proactive and results-driven approach with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Desire and willingness to work until the job is done, rather than until the hours run out on the clock.
