Datmos is hiring its next Product Owner!
Reporting to the Account & Delivery director, the Product Owner acts as a key intermediary between clients and the development team. The PO is responsible for analyzing business needs, documenting and maintaining the product backlog for our client’s projects , and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution .
This role requires a strong bilingual communicator who understands both business and technical realities, and who thrives in a client-facing, agile environment.
You will be responsible for
- Acting as the main liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure alignment and clarity.
- Leading requirements gathering workshops and translating business needs into well-defined user stories.
- Creating, prioritizing, and maintaining a transparent product backlog aligned with business objectives.
- Supporting clients in their digital transformation and eCommerce strategy.
- Collaborating closely with strategy, business, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Documenting and diagramming customer systems while identifying new business opportunities.
Requirements (Must-Have)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner , ideally in an eCommerce environment.
- Strong background in eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, etc.) and related systems (ERP, DAM, etc.).
- Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is necessary as you will work in both languages with our clients.
- Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong ability to ask the right questions to shape and clarify eCommerce vision and strategy.
- Solid knowledge of business analysis techniques and documentation practices.
- Deep understanding of e-business challenges, strategies, and best practices.
- Experience in business process modeling and eCommerce business rules.li
- Proven experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum framework).
Nice to have (Assets)
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) certification – strong asset.
- A Technical background or a business analyst background is considered a strong asset.
