Where do you come in?
Cotton Candy is currently seeking a Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across research, marketing, sales support, and creative content development within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
What specifically?
- Conduct research projects to support sales and marketing initiatives, including prospect identification, contact verification, and company analysis.
- Build marketing calendars for client campaigns and RFP submissions, tracking relevant event and promotional timelines.
- Support the development of creative content, including social media posts, videos, and branded presentation decks.
- Assist in preparing product reference spreadsheets, catalogues, and RFP support materials.
- Research and source trending and on-brand products for seasonal campaigns and client projects.
- Create and organize marketing collateral and client materials using tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.
- Support product management activities, including catalog updates, supplier coordination, and inventory tracking.
- Participate in internal creative sessions, supplier meetings, and team coordination tasks.
- Maintain organized project files, templates, and data for internal and client use.
- Assist with event coordination as needed.
- Support Account Executives with Rep Run E Store creation using established templates, including product uploads, catalogue organization, and updates.
- Assist with Shopify store management, including product merchandising and catalogue uploads. Apply UX/UI best practices within existing templates.
- Manage Google Ads and Social Media for certain clients of our (Such as Parks Canada.)
- Provide administrative and general support to the sales and marketing teams as needed.
What do you bring to the table?
- Post Secondary Education in Marketing or Business
- Previous experience in Marketing, Sales, Advertising, or with practical experience in digital marketing or communications, including social media.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and experience supporting website optimization, including working within Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and content creation tools (ex. Canva, Adobe) as well as social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Comfortable working with data, conducting market research, and managing multiple priorities.
- Creative thinker with an interest in branded merchandise and promotional marketing.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- The ability to self-direct and work with minimal supervision.
- Energy and eagerness to tackle new projects and ideas.
