About the Role The Company is seeking a VP of Ecommerce to take on a pivotal role in driving the digital business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full P&L of the digital business, including DTC, subscription, global 3P marketplaces, and omnichannel customer engagement. This role demands a strategic leader who can compound the subscription and loyalty flywheel, lead expansion into social commerce and international digital channels, and build the necessary infrastructure to support significant gross-profit opportunities.
The VP will oversee the ecommerce P&L, digital strategy, subscription and loyalty programs, multi-brand digital merchandising, and pricing, as well as marketplaces and site experience. They must be adept at team leadership, agency management, and cross-functional collaboration, with a strong focus on customer data, analytics, and retail media. Candidates for the VP of Ecommerce position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA or master's degree preferred.
A minimum of 15 years' ecommerce experience, including at least 10 years in a leadership role with a digital P&L of $100M or more, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving revenue and market share growth in an omnichannel retail environment, with a strong preference for those with a background in supplement, CPG, beauty, health & wellness, or consumables. Deep operational fluency with major enterprise ecommerce platforms, particularly Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and experience in subscription and membership P&L management are essential.
The role also requires expertise in marketplaces, performance marketing, lifecycle, CRM, and analytics, with a focus on AI-era execution. The candidate should be a strong leader, with the ability to build and develop a high-performing digital organization, and be comfortable operating in a dynamic, post-bankruptcy business environment.
