About the Role

Black Friday Sale Ireland (www.blackfridaysaleireland.ie) is Ireland's dedicated deal aggregation platform, helping Irish shoppers find the best voucher codes, promo codes, and exclusive discounts from top retailers — updated daily. As we build towards Black Friday 2026 and grow the site year-round, we're looking for a part-time Content Specialist to help develop, manage, and refresh content across the site.

We are currently in the process of building and developing the site, and this role is a ground-floor opportunity to help shape it from the start. As we grow towards Black Friday 2026 and establish the site as a year-round resource, we're looking for a part-time Content Specialist to help develop, manage, and refresh content across the site.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a passion for digital content, affiliate or deals publishing, and a sharp eye for what Irish consumers want..

What You'll Be Doing

• Deal & Voucher Code Management - Sourcing, writing, and publishing deal listings across categories including Fashion, Tech, Beauty, Sport, Travel, Food & Drink, and Home & Garden
• Content Updates - Keeping existing deal cards accurate, up to date, and relevant as retailer offers change
• Blog Content - Writing engaging blog posts around seasonal shopping events, deal guides, and retailer spotlights tailored to an Irish audience
• SEO Copywriting - Writing and optimising page copy, meta descriptions, and headings to improve organic search visibility
• Retailer Outreach Support - Assisting with identifying new brands and retailers to feature on the site
• Site Building - Supporting the ongoing build-out of the site, including adding new categories, pages, and content sections
• Newsletter Content - Helping draft email campaigns to grow and engage the subscriber base
• Quality Assurance - Regularly reviewing the site to ensure all links, codes, and deals are working correctly

What We're Looking For

• Strong written English with a conversational, consumer-friendly tone
• Experience in content writing, copywriting, or digital publishing
• Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms
• Basic understanding of SEO principles
• A genuine interest in deals, retail, and the Irish consumer market
• Ability to work independently and manage your own time effectively
• Attention to detail - accuracy of deals and codes matters to our users

Bonus if you have

• Experience with affiliate marketing or deals/voucher publishing
• Knowledge of Irish retailers and the local e-commerce landscape
• Familiarity with email marketing tools
