Social Media Manager

The Role

• Own the community management strategy, setting the tone and playbooks for brand presence across key social platforms.

• Manage daily community engagement, including writing posts, moderating conversations, and fostering audience connection.

• Engage authentically with retail investors by understanding the unique culture, humor, and pace of online finance communities.

• Act as the voice of the customer by monitoring sentiment and delivering actionable insights to product and marketing teams.

• Ideate and execute community-first events, such as AMAs and Q&As, to engage dedicated users.

• Partner with product marketing to shape social-native creative and messaging for product launches and campaigns.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of experience in social media or community management, preferably within consumer tech, fintech, or a culturally relevant brand.

• Proven experience partnering with product marketing, brand, or campaign teams to translate product stories into engaging social content.

• Native understanding of platform nuances, particularly X, TikTok, Reddit, and Instagram, and how different communities operate.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for various audiences and compliance needs.

• A data-driven mindset to translate social metrics into actionable strategy.

• Ability to thrive in a highly regulated industry, balancing creativity with compliance and legal guardrails.
