About ASPDA
The American Sports and Performance Dietitians Association (ASPDA) is the leading professional organization for sports dietitians and performance nutrition professionals. Our members work with collegiate athletics, professional sports organizations, Olympic and Paralympic programs, military organizations, tactical athletes, and other high-performance populations.
ASPDA exists to create leaders who elevate the profession of sports nutrition through ethical, science-based, and cutting-edge care. As our organization continues to grow, we're looking for a creative, strategic Social Media Specialist to elevate our digital presence and engage our members in meaningful ways.
Position Summary
ASPDA is seeking an innovative, social-first professional to lead and execute our social media strategy across all platforms. This is an opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social media—someone who understands what captures attention, stays ahead of emerging trends, and knows how to transform organizational news into engaging content that people actually want to share.
The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, storyteller, and content creator. They are plugged into social media culture, understand platform-specific best practices, and know how to create content that feels authentic while strengthening ASPDA's brand and growing member engagement.
If you're constantly saving trending audio, identifying the next viral format before everyone else, and thinking about how brands can join conversations in meaningful ways, we'd love to meet you.
