About the Role

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented E-commerce Platform Specialist to join their team in Calgary . This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of their online sales channels. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on the e-commerce platform, optimizing user experience, and implementing new features to drive sales. The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical aptitude for e-commerce systems and a passion for creating an exceptional online shopping journey for customers.

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain the e-commerce platform, including product catalog updates, pricing, and inventory synchronization. Optimize website functionality, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) to enhance conversion rates and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns, A/B tests, and new feature rollouts. Troubleshoot technical issues related to the e-commerce platform and work with development teams for resolution. Analyze platform performance data to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations. Ensure website compliance with security standards and data privacy regulations. Requirements Proven experience managing and optimizing an e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, BigCommerce). Strong understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics. Experience with e-commerce analytics tools and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing product data and site content.
